How much data transfer do I need?
Over 97% of our
accounts use 50% of 1000 megabytes of monthly data transfer.
All of our plans
except our starter plan include 4 times this amount.
Using our site as an example our pages average less than 40Kb
in html and graphics per page. 4000 megabytes of monthly transfer
calculates to than 100,000 page accesses.
What's the difference
between a "hit" and a page access? If you have a
page that has a total of 25 html and image files, each page
access equals 25 hits. Our pages average 5 html and image
files which equals 600,000 hits per month, per 4,000 megabytes
of data transfer.

How much disk space do I need?
Most web sites need
very little disk space for web pages. For example our site
uses less than 4 megabyte of disk space and has over 40 pages.
We allocate 75 % of your allowed disk space for all our plans
toward your log files and site statistics. The
remainder can be used for your web site and POP3
email.
If your site has
an average of 40K of graphics and html for each page, 50 megs.
will cover 1,800 Pages.

What is an alias/email forward?
An email Alias/Forward
is an email address @ your domain name. This will forward
to a POP3 Account here at MetroLink
technologiesor any other address on the Internet.

What is a POP3 email account?
POP3 accounts
will provide a login name and password to retrieve your
email from a MetroLink Communications account using any popular email
client such as Microsoft Outlook, Netscape Communicator,
Eudora etc.
What are email autoresponders?
Email autoresponders
are just that. Anytime an email is received by a specific
address an email is automatically sent back to the person
who sent it. This is sometimes called a vacation program.
You could setup
for example an autoresponders on info@your_domain.com to send back an auto responce of "Thank you for requesting
information. A representative will be contacting you shortly."
You have complete
control over which address/es have an autoresponders and
what message is emailed back using a simple on-line form
included with your account.
What is hold (Park) domain name?
Holding or parking
a domain Name includes registering it for which you will be
charged $15.00. Free to Hosting Customers with an active Domain
This name will simply
be registered and owned by the person or organization
who requested the registration..

support options are offered?
Same
Day Account Setup:
MetroLink Communications provides same day account setup (within 24 hours,
7 days per week for all subscriptions paid by Visa, MasterCard,
American Express, or E-Check through PayPal (R) . We currently don't offer any other payment system
Customer Support:
MetroLink Technologies provides
online support for Frequently Asked Questions which are available 24hours
per day, 7 days per week. Tutorials are included for adding features to your web site and using
our service. All requests will be answered

Can I resell my web space?
Yes, it is perfectly
acceptable to resell our services even if you order one of
our regular hosting plans. This includes setting up Internet
Malls for local businesses, and other situations where your
customers use space under your domain account. (http://www.your_name.com/customer.)
You may choose to manage the Domain for a client , customer,
or friend.

Do you offer local access?
No, all resources
are used for Internet Hosting. This allows MetroLink Technologies to stay one step ahead of other ISP's offering Hosting Services
and provides maximum performance for our customers. (There
are no Dialup or Dedicated Line Customers to "Eat Up"
our resources.)

Can I upgrade my account?
Yes you always have
the option to upgrade your hosting plan. Setup and transition
fees may apply, however all full months remaining in your
current plan will be credited toward your new upgraded plan.

How do I list with search engines?
Register

The Wizard

How do I transfer my site to you?
There is no additional
charge to have your domain name moved from your current provider
to our service. When you sign up for an account we will provide
our DNS server information to use our service.
You can go to the
web site of the Registrar where you registered your domain
name to update your DNS server information. Once approved
the transfer will take effect within 3 business days.

How do I order an account?
Please use our on-line
forms to place your order. These forms are secure using
SSL to insure your credit card and account information reaches
our service safely. Our hosting plans are on a subscription
basis through PayPal(R) . Your Subscription is

Do you accept non-us orders?
Yes, a large number
of our customers are not from the US. If you are ordering
a non-standard US domain name we will provide an IP address
and DNS information to register your domain name with the
appropriate domain authority.
If you are from
outside the US and order a standard US domain name we will
handle the domain name registration for you.

What forms of payment?
We personalize our service by having just a
few quality products at the best possible price. Therefore
we use an easy payment plan provided by PayPal(R),
or CCBill a Credit Card Billing service.

Cancellations
Client may request the cancellation of their
account at any time. All fees paid are non-refundable. Cancellation
requests must be received 72 hours (3 days) before the end
of the next billing period to avoid being charged further.
All Subscriptions with PayPal(R) must
be cancelled by the Client through their PayPal(R) account. All files will be deleted within 72 hours (3
days) of the day of cancellation.All Subscriptions with CCBill
must be cancelled by the Client through their CCBill account.
Metrolink Provides a CCBill cancellation button for your convenience.
All files will be deleted within 72 hours (3 days) of the
day of cancellation. We value you as a Client and hope
your hosting experience with us was pleasant. If the

Termination
If it is discovered and proven to our satisfaction
that our services are being used for an illegal, immoral or
unethical purposes, all services shall be immediately terminated.
All fees and/or advance payments shall be deemed forfeited
and non-refundable. Illegal purpose shall include but
not be restricted to, all applicable local, state and federal
laws of the United States and international laws and regulations.
Immoral or unethical purposes are at the sole discretion of
the Provider, and Client agrees that the Provider's determination
is final, whether based on personal opinion or fact.
Termination shall be accompanied by written notice to the
Client. Under certain circumstances described in this
TOS, Provider may terminate Service with or without notice.
Provider shall not be liable to Client or any third party
for termination of Service. Upon termination of
the Service, Client's rights to use the Service immediately
ceases, and Provider shall thereafter have no obligation to
maintain or forward any data or communications to Client
